This year was the first year for a fund raiser for CHCC. The Calgary Marathon Charity Challenge allowed over 109 charities to participate in fund-raising while team members completed different races:

• Diaper dash
• Kids run for ages 2-12
• 5km
• 10km
• Half marathon (21.1km)
• Full marathon (42.2km)

We entered the Charity Challenge. The team members who ran were incredible!

On Saturday May 23, our two youngest team members, who are six years old, ran with their parents and did very well. On Sunday, one person ran the half marathon and another ran the full 42.2km distance!

Our virtual team members are participating from Calgary, Red Deer, St. Albert, Toronto and Sweden.

For the cheering section: we had fun!!!

We raised over $9,000 in donations. An amazing feat! Thank you for everyone who participated and donated to this cause! We plan to participate in the Charity Challenge again next year.
